PrimeOCR Pricing

Prime Recognition’s products are designed for the production market, hence they are significantly more expensive than desktop OCR products. Most entry level configurations have a cost between $4,990 to $8,000.

Pricing of PrimeOCR starts at $3,995.00 for a license to process unlimited pages and $1,199.00 for a page limited license (limited to process 150,000 pages). Annual software maintenance is required for the first year, for all items licensed, and is 15% of the license cost.

The base configuration of PrimeOCR includes three voting OCR engines, the PrimeOCR Job Server, the SDK, 2400 zones/page, ASCII output, formatted output (formatted ASCII, RTF, HTML, etc.), auto-zoning and recognition of European international language characters.

Available add-on modules, that would add to the price of the base configuration, include:

additional voting engines for increased accuracy (maximum of six)
image enhancement (deskew, auto-rotation, despeckle, etc.)
PDF input/output
Lexical Plus
support for multi-core CPUs
support for Capture/InputAccel
support for processing color or grayscale images
barcode recognition
recognition of Asian languages characters (Chinese, Japanese and Korean)

recognition of rotated text
support for large images up to E sized Engineering drawings

The increased accuracy, fault tolerance, and other "high end" features pay for themselves very quickly; most of our clients report very short payback periods.

License pricing is on a "per PC" basis, and is highly dependent on what features/options you wish to license. Prime Recognition also offers a variety of pricing options to match your financial needs, for example:

"selective voting" discounts

Other product pricing

Both PrimeView and PrimeVerify are end user products and are designed to be used by a single operator at a workstation. They are licensed on a per PC basis. Please contact us for details.

PrimeZone and PrimePost are typically used in specific conversion scenarios and are often modified to meet the specifications of the conversion project.
